Clients hear only what they want to hear and remember only what they want to remember. We want them to remember exactly what we told them that we provide as services. They want to remember what services they would like us to provide for them.
Send your client a welcome packet in the mail, or leave it at your first visit if there is not enough time to mail it, that includes a company profile sheet that lists exactly what you clean. It can also list the extra tasks that are purchased individually such as inside of the refrigerator, wet wiping the baseboards, etc. Be sure the profile sheet clearly states that there is an additional charge for each of these items, if there is. If there is not detail how often they will be performed.
Create a company profile sheet or use ours and make the appropriate adjustments for your company. Our company profile sheet does list extra tasks as part of the service for weekly and biweekly clients and asks for additional money for those cleaned less frequently.
