When I started developing my cleaning service 22 years ago there was not a single support system for residential cleaning services anywhere in the world. I had to invent the wheel for everything we did. Having come from the corporate world, where there was a non-ending bevy of support, this was disappointing and time gobbling for me. There was nothing else to do but make it up as we went. You can just imagine how many mistakes were made by using the process of trial and error. I vowed to myself then that if I made it in this industry I would make the learning curve easier for others who chose this journey. I did make it in this industry. When I sold my company in 2008 we were generating $2M a year in gross revenue. Now I am enjoying devoting my time to sharing what I learned with you.

Every single step you take in your company should and does have a best practices process or policy. Many companies short step processes, skip processes or stop processes because they are not sure what they should be and do not have the time to research them.� This creates a gaping hole in the company’s culture of excellence.
